At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we reviewed how best to deliver our services to meet Government and NHS England guidance.  We stopped delivering all but the most clinically essential face-to-face appointments for service users and adapted where required how we would deliver our remaining services to ensure that everyone involved remained safe.

Following recent Government updates, we are working to restart the delivery of more of our services. To ensure that our service users, their families, staff, and the wider community are protected from the risk of COVID-19, we may deliver our services in a different way to how they were delivered previously. Where possible, our clinicians will deliver care virtually, for example, through telephone appointments or video consultations, and may share resources and information digitally – all with the aim of minimising the risk of spreading the virus.

Where it is not possible to deliver care virtually, including where a clinician needs to provide treatment in person, we will carry out the necessary risk assessments to help minimise the risk to our service users and staff so that care can be delivered as safely as is possible.

Please don’t forget to wear a face mask or covering*
As per the Government COVID-19 guidance, please remember that if you visit any one of our clinical locations (service users, visitors and our staff), please remember that you will need to wear a face mask or covering. *Please note, face coverings should not be used by children under the age of 3 or those who may find it difficult to manage them correctly (including individuals with lung or respiratory conditions affected by the reduced airflow, or who may not be able to apply and remove the mask safely such as individuals with Alzheimer’s – our staff will support you with social distancing in these instances).
